Environmental management

Latvia as a state advocates for the integration of sustainable development principles in public administration and manufacturing. Introduction of Environmental management system (EMS) may help resolve environmental issues in companies or organizations efficiently. Its main task is to help employees understand the impact of their activities on the environment, but the management – to find the most appropriate and effective solutions. Environmental management systems can be developed and certified according to two models – in compliance with the requirements of international standard ISO 14001:2004 or EU Environmental Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS).

We offer 160 hour training course for Environmental Management Systems managers. In this training course listeners will get acquainted not only with the structure and operation of EMS, but also with sophisticated solutions for the most substantial areas of environmental protection. After establishing Environmental Management System, next task is no less responsible and voluminous –the system must be audited and improved. It requires more knowledge and skills. PSI Training centre offers two level training for EMS auditors.
